Andrew Hopcraft

Managing Director

Andrew joined us as Managing Director from GE Aviation Systems (formerly Smiths Aerospace) in 2009. With an early career within mechanical engineering and programme management, he most recently led their radar altimeter and mechanical cockpit displays business, having previously led a variety of engineering departments including hardware design, mechanical design and engineering support.

Joe Howes

New Business

As one of the founding members of the OES team, Max heads up the New Business group. With a focus on the Aerospace and Oil & Gas sectors, he ensures that existing accounts are developed to their full potential, whilst actively seeking new business opportunities. Additionally, he holds overall responsibility for the deployment of our project teams on-site to our customers. Prior to OES, Joe spent many years in the test and measurement industry both in the UK and internationally.

Peter Spayne

Head of Engineering

As Head of Engineering for Omega Engineering Services, Peter is responsible for the efficiency and effectiveness of design processes and for ensuring full product compliance both with customer technical requirements and with legislative requirements. Design for manufacture and maintainability is also a key responsibility.

Providing innovative and reliable Test Solutions to demanding time, quality and cost constraints is Peter’s focus, having gained many years experience in the Defence and Secure Communications markets. His experience includes responsibility for strategic implementation of Requirements Management and Systems Engineering practices across a broad range of technologies.

Bryan Keep

Manufacturing Leader

Bryan is responsible for the quality and delivery of our manufacturing unit. With nearly 20 years of manufacturing experience across all forms of production from single cables to complete systems and volume production, Bryan has the perfect background for delivery to our customers. He also leads our 5S and 7 wastes activities for the business.
